Even if you enjoy travelling on your own, there are times when it's nice to have someone there, at your destination, to meet you, offer a few useful tips and a little assurance, and to be there if and when you need them, especially if you're travelling with young children.

That's what our Travel Assistants do. You'll meet your personal Travel Assistant at the airport and receive our Travel Package, which contains everything from restaurant suggestions to emergency numbers. She'll be able to respond to any initial questions you may have. Most importantly, your Travel Assistant will be available to you by phone during normal business hours, ready to respond to questions and concerns that come up during your stay on our island. This might be information on an out-of-the-way sight you would like to see, or just about anything that occurs during your trip. For emergencies, your Travel Assistant can be reached 24 hours a day.

In this way, your private vacation remains private, but you'll have the confidence of practical assistance.

Our Travel Assistant service is provided automatically with our with step-by-step itinerary planning as part of of our Independent Travel service. Having a Travel Assistant is like having a personal concierge, ready to help with anything that might arise. It's just another way of making your stay in Sicily more pleasant. Naturally, nobody likes to think about what to do in an emergency while on vacation, but it's reassuring to have somebody available for such a situation.

As explained on our pricing and conditions page, the non-refundable deposit of 300 euros (€) included with independent travel planning and other services includes 3 days' Travel Assistance. Travel Assistance includes a 24 hour personal cell number for emergencies as well as the phone number for your personal Travel Assistant at your disposal during working hours (9 AM to 8 PM) to cater to your spontaneity. If purchased separately (not as part of another service), the rates are:

Airport Meet & Greet ... €150

Minimum 3 days' Travel Assistance service €300 (plus €70 for each additional day)

Minimum 6 days' Travel Assistance service €450 (plus €70 for each additional day)

9 to 15 days' Travel Assistance service €600 (€70 for each additional day beginning on the 16th day)
